I recently had the opportunity to travel via Donyi Polo Airport (Hollongi Airport), Itanagar, and I must say it was a pleasant and hassle-free experience. As Arunachal Pradesh’s first greenfield airport, this modern infrastructure is a game-changer for the region, improving connectivity and making travel easier for both locals and tourists.
Infrastructure & Facilities
The airport is beautifully designed with a modern yet culturally rich ambiance. The terminal is clean, spacious, and well-organized, capable of handling a good number of passengers without feeling crowded. Despite being a relatively new airport, it has all essential facilities, including:

It's good to have an Airport in our capital. Before, we used to have to go to Guwahati for a flight. This has made it so much easier for the folks of Arunachal Pradesh. The road leading to the Airport is also in good condition, and there are lots of dhabas available if you would like to have food in between. The airport is clean and less crowded as of now.
