I was staying at the resort for a week in February 2025. Was very impressed by the service provided. Rooms are clean and the resort has a beautiful backdrop. Food, though limited menu, was amazing. Very polite n efficient staff. Would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely terrible experience with this so called resort. There's no electricity in the rooms and no hot water will.ne available. We waited for hours to enquire about it and there's no staff Available anywhere on the property. After 3 hours when we found a staff, she said they won't have any electricity and we can vacate. When we went there to check in there was no information given about any of this. We had to pack and leave after riding 7 hours and needing a hot water bath. They even tried to take money from us which was 3000 for the room before we left. Completely terrible.

Anini town situated on the eastern most point of our country was on my wishlist for more than two years. The self drive to to this place was an out of the world experience. We crossed so many different land terrains in that trip which was between 20th to 25th May, 2025. After doing some assessment, we chose to stay at Mishmi Hills Resort. The location, the vibe, the ambience is all just beautiful. Food was good. Our overall experience was great. Couple of things which we didn't like much... 1) Though it's a land of Rising Sun and it gets clear by 4- 5am, they do not entertain early morning breakfast request. Nothing before 8am is possible. Since we were 2000 kms away from home and we had to head back, we wanted an early morning breakfast by 7am that too only on the day of departure, to save time, but they couldn't give anything before 8am. If they were laying full fledged lavish Buffet it can be understood that it takes time but every morning they have a fixed menu. They serve only Poori Subzi and Toasts which doesn't take much time... Another thing is.... even though it was off season, they are very rigid and routined in terms of breakfast. Every day only Poori Subzi. They could give stuffed parathas on some days but they don't. Parathas or Omlettes etc. doesn't cost higher than Poori Subzi...but they stick to only one item Probably because of low tourism in those area, the staff is not very flexible. 2) Another thing... The staff was quite young and cheerful enjoying among themselves but at times they get a little loud ignoring the fact that hospitality is a little formal service area. Nevertheless, overall it was a good stay and if I get an opportunity to visit Anini again, I would like to try some other resorts over there.

I recently stayed at this resort, and it was an absolute disaster. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with broken furniture and stains on the linens. The staff was unprofessional and unhelpful, and I had to wait hours for any assistance. The amenities were either closed or not functioning properly, and the food was bland and overpriced. Overall, this was a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Definitely not worth the money.
