Spicy Vie, founded by Irik Koyu (CEO) and Inam Koyu (Co-Founder), is an Arunachal Pradesh-based company creating authentic Arunachalee pickles. Irik, with a B.Com from Don Bosco College Jollang and an MBA from NERIST Nirjuli, began her journey with pickles during her college days, learning the craft from her mother. Inam, who holds a B.A. from Don Bosco College Guwahati and an M.A. in Psychology from Down Town University Guwahati, joined to expand this passion into a thriving business.
Our venture was incubated under the RKVY RAFTAAR CHF RABI program, blending traditional pickle-making techniques with scientific knowledge. Our products include a wide range of non-vegetarian pickles like chicken, prawns, pork, beef, and buffalo, as well as vegetarian pickles like bamboo shoot with king chili, chili and garlic, sesame, perilla, soybeans, mango, radish, and more. We are constantly innovating and will soon launch new products.
Spicy Vie sells through stores, canteens, flea markets, festivals, and music fests like Ziro Festival of Music (ZFM) and Siang Festival. We’ve represented our brand at events across Manipur, Delhi, Meghalaya, and beyond. With a strong social media presence on Instagram and Facebook (@spicy_vie), we receive orders from across India, including Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Kolkata, Kerala, Bangalore, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh.
Committed to empowering our community, we source raw materials from local villages, benefiting local farmers. Additionally, we provide part-time job opportunities, especially for young women, through short-term contracts.
